A new venue has been secured, free of charge: Lancasters Restaurant on the corner of Norwood Road and Lancaster Avenue. Richard Moore agreed to confirm reservation for the next meeting on 11th May 2004 at 7.30pm
1. Parking and traffic: The Police policy on parking is now to only become involved with emergencies or Red Routes. Richard Moore offered to create a Public Notice and present it at the next meeting relevant to parking issues.
Tulse Hill questionnaire was referred to the next meeting but there was general discussion around it. Rod Brown introduced issues in the survey surrounding development of Tulse Hill station entrance area and advised that the P13 bus route was now terminating at New Cross instead of Surrey Quays.
The situation in Lansdowne Hill should be resolved by installing the agreed priority traffic flow.
2. Membership Secretary: The nomination / election of a new membership secretary was deferred as Rod Brown is considering his present commitments before agreeing and will confirm or otherwise at the next meeting.
3. St Luke's Gardens: The report is as given at the Area Committee meeting on 18th March 2004.
AOB There was discussion around the possible closure and/or re-siting of the ' Cop Shop'
